Executive Biography

Arthur Potts was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 2014 as the MPP for Beaches-East York.

Potts currently serves as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Transportation, and as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change. He was previously Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

In his role as the owner of Municipal Affairs Consulting, he has worked closely with municipal representatives across the province to address concerns regarding the environment, recycling and sustainability. His passion for the environment and sustainable solutions drove him to co-found a waste management company that recycles unwanted wood into usable end products. At the height of its operations, the firm employed more than 30 people. It is still in business today.
