Bruce McCuaig
Deputy Minister of Transportation

Bruce McCuaig was appointed Deputy Minister of Transportation on January 7, 2008.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. McCuaig was Assistant Deputy Minister of Provincial Highways Management Division in MTO. In this position, Mr. McCuaig was responsible for the division that manages the province’s 16,525 kilometres of highways. The division also looks after 2,800 bridges and structures, 29 remote airports and eight ferry services.
Mr. McCuaig has also held the position of Assistant Deputy Minister of the ministry’s Policy, Planning and Standards Division, as well as a variety of other positions at MTO and at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Mr. McCuaig has a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
