By Spring 2009, the Ontario government will release a study which will look at ways to hasten the introduction of electric vehicles including:

• Financial incentives designed to encourage the purchase of electric vehicles
• Preferred access to transportation grid to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles
• Forward looking procurement policies to speed government adoption of electric vehicles into fleet services whereappropriate
• Coordinated public education and promotion ofelectric vehicles as a mode of personal transportation.

We'd like your feedback on the ways to speed up the market entry of electric vehicles and we'd like to know what you see as the advantages as well as the barriers to owning electric vehicles.

All comments received will be considered as the Province studies the future of Electric Vehicles in Ontario.
