The Transit Investment Strategy Advisory Panel was established by the Provincial Government to advise the Province on how to best respond to the Metrolinx Investment Strategy, and with input from the public, to assess the Metrolinx recommendations. Comprised of 13 citizens with the common goal of how to fund transit expansion across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, the Advisory Panel brought together individuals with diverse backgrounds, relevant expertise and experience from across the region.
After three months of public consultations with key stakeholders and residents in the GTHA for their input on Metrolinx's Investment Strategy recommendations, on December 12, 2013, the Panel released a final report entitled Making the Move: Choices and Consequences.
