2011 Service Commitment


To provide Road Construction information for provincial highways in English and French and make the information continuously available to the public by Internet, telephone, and teletypewriter (TTY). Road Construction information is updated weekly.


Service Commitment

  • The target is to have Road Construction information available province-wide 100% of the time. The information is updated weekly from April – November. It is provided through the Internet and telephone system 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • Website and telephone platform statistics

Performance

During the period from April 1 to November 31, 2011, the service commitment achieved:

  • 99.87% - Website was operational
    • Website was not operational on three separate days for a combined outage of seven and half (7.5) hours
  • 99.93% - Integrated Voice Response (IVR) was operational
    • IVR was not operational on one day for a combined outage of 4 hours
  • 100% - Live agents were available between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Action to Address Performance Issues

  • Updating the information regularly and having more than one access point for the public.
  • We will continue to provide information to the public on Road Construction and increase our access points as technology evolves.
