Limits of Existing Four Laning

Four laning has progressed northward in stages from Port Severn in Simcoe
County to its current limit at the Musquash River, 8.5 km south of MacTier.

This includes 4 km from Muskoka Road 32/38 northerly to the
Musquash River that was completed in October 1999.

Four laning has also progressed between MacTier and Parry Sound, including:

Construction is currently underway to complete the last 8 km of four laning between Port Severn and Parry Sound.

As Highway 69 is four laned from the south, it is being re-numbered Highway 400.

Construction to complete the four laning of Highway 69 between Parry Sound and Sudbury is now progressing from both the north and south ends.

In addition, a 6 km stretch of urban type undivided four laning currently exists south of Highway 17 in Sudbury.
