Ontario 511 looks different. What’s new?
MTO is updating Ontario 511 to make it easier for travellers to check road conditions and plan their journeys.
Here is a glimpse of what the new Ontario 511 looks like:
Based on feedback from the people such as you who use Ontario 511, the team at MTO has added new features such as route planning and My 511 to help you get where you need to go.
Ontario 511’s Route Planning feature helps you pick the best way to reach your destination, taking into consideration current traffic congestion and up-to-the-minute information on road conditions and incidents.
My 511 is a new feature on the Ontario 511 site. When you subscribe to My 511, you will receive personalized travel notifications when traffic conditions change along your selected travel route. My 511 also lets you create and save lists of MTO traffic cameras for a quick look at live traffic conditions.
