| Traffic Impact : |
Highway 401 eastbound and westbound from 1.3 kilometres west of interchange 648 to 2.0 kilometres east of interchange 648 Expect delays up to 5 minutes. Eastbound and westbound highway 401 will be reduced to one lane daily. Speeds are reduced and width restriction is 4.3 metres. PLEASE NOTE: Highway 2 is reduced to one lane using concrete barriers and temporary traffic signals. Speeds are reduced and width restriction is 3.75 metres. Highway 401 eastbound on ramp is closed to Highway 2 southbound traffic. At interchange 685: westbound off ramp at Thousand Island Parkway lane reduction with width restriction of 3.75 meters controlled by concrete barriers with speeds reduced; eastbound and westbound highway 401 may encounter lane reductions with a width restriction of 4.25 meters. Detour route for Highway 2 southbound to Highway 401 eastbound: follow signs to take Highway 401 westbound to Interchange 645 County Road 32, follow signs to Highway 401 eastbound on-ramp. |

| Traffic Impact : |
Highway 401, 0.89 kilometres west of the Boundary Road Structure and 3.7 kilometres east of the highway 401/CNR overpass structures for a total length of 4.6 kilometres. Expect delays up to 10 minutes. Eastbound and westbound highway 401 traffic will encounter lane closures at the Canadian National Railway structures. Speeds will be reduced. There is a width restriction westbound of 4.8 meters and eastbound of 5.9 meters. PLEASE NOTE: On May 20, 2013 construction will be shut down. From Highway 401, reroute from County Road 42 McConnell Avenue to County Road 2 to County Road 27 Summerstown Station Road. |
