The Traffic and Road Information System (TRIS) provides real-time information on unscheduled and scheduled traffic events for provincially maintained highways in eleven regions, including:

• Niagara
• Hamilton
• Halton
• Peel
• Toronto
• York
• Durham
• Simcoe
• Bancroft
• Ontario East Communities
• Ottawa

Unscheduled Traffic Events

Any unplanned event including collisions, breakdowns, emergency roadwork, vehicle fire, spill, road conditions, etc.

Scheduled Traffic Events

Any event that is known in advance, including maintenance, construction, special events, etc.
