Alternative Fuel Associations

  • Electric Mobility Canada is a not-for-profit organization that promotes electric mobility as a means to address environmental and energy issues. Its members include suppliers of electrical energy, companies that sell or distribute vehicles or components, government agencies, and related associations, societies, labour organizations and research centres. Its website outlines the vision and goals of the organization, membership, as well as sponsored projects and publications.
  • The Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance is a natural gas vehicle advocacy group that promotes natural gas vehicles, fuels and related infrastructure. Its members include companies involved in research, project management and consulting, manufacturing, vehicle conversion technology and installation, fuel and infrastructure and supply. Its website outlines the benefits of natural gas, identifies where natural gas conversions can be made, where the fuel can be acquired, and provides links to its members who include manufacturers and distributors.
  • Propane Gas Association of Canada represents the interests of propane retailers, transporters, producers, wholesalers and manufacturers of appliances, cylinders and equipment of the Canadian propane industry. Its website contains information on the benefits of propane, member and industry news, training opportunities and a Propane Market Study Summary Report.
  • Ontario Propane Association represents the interests of propane retailers, transporters, producers, wholesalers and suppliers to the industry of Ontario. Its website provides basic information on the fuel and its use, servicing and operating tips and includes a list of propane suppliers.

  • Automotive Aftermarket Retailers of Ontario represents the independent sector of the automotive service industry, such as an owner/operator or an auto repair garage. Its website outlines the services to its members, as well as other training and programs.
